Olympic runner Deena Kastor competes in the Marathon event August 17, Jen Rhines - the 5,000 meter on August 19 and 22, Ian Dobson - the Men's 5,000 meter on August 20 and 23 and Ryan Hall- Men's Marathon on August 24.

Deena's husband Andrew Kastor writes regular updates that are posted on the Town of Mammoth's tourism website. Check out daily Olympic news at www.visitmammoth.com/olympics .

The latest post from Andrew and Deena says Deena is "missing home and anxious to race! You can read regular blogs from Running USA coach Terrence Mahon and Andrew Kastor, both in Beijing with the U.S. Olympic team. In fact, Deena writes that both Terrence and Andrew bought bicycles to ride along side the athletes while they are training. She says they will donate the bikes to locals just before they leave.

Deena also mentioned the energy and morale boost of a group of six - four athletes and two trainers - that make up the U.S. runners.
