Where's Santa? That’s what one caller wanted to know. She pointed out that every year, Santa Claus and reindeer appear on the top of Bishop City Hall in days before Christmas.
We took this woman’s holiday concerns to heart and called Bishop City Hall. Community Services Director Keith Caldwell said that the City is now in the last phases of a major re-roofing job on City Hall and the Police Department.
Caldwell was aware of the delayed Santa appearance. He said that, hopefully and weather permitting, the roof will be Claus-ready by Thursday. “It’s our plan,” he said, “to get Santa Claus up there.”
